AI Assisted Inspections

PIM now includes a built-in AI assistant to help you write better inspection notes — faster and with less effort. There are two ways you can put it to work depending on where you are in your inspection workflow.

1. Auto-Populate Notes from Photos

1. From the Inspection Areas screen, tap the wizard icon () in the top right corner of the screen.
   
   
   

   Tap the wizard icon in the top right of the Inspection Areas screen.

2. Select Auto-Populate Notes from Photosto continue. You will be presented with a summary screen listing all the inspection areas that contain photos, showing exactly what PIM will analyse before it begins.

   PIM shows a summary of all inspection areas and photo counts before generating notes.

3. Tap Generate Notes. PIM will get to work straight away — you can watch in real time as it analyses each inspection area and begins populating notes. You will be surprised at just how quickly it works.

4. Once complete, open any inspection area to review the generated notes. Where relevant, PIM will also populate your call-out boxes, if available, — such as Maintenance Required, Suggested Improvements, and Our Summary — based on what was found in the photos.

2. Generate Existing Notes Using AI

Navigate to any inspection area or sub-inspection area. You will notice a small wizard icon () to the right of the Notes and Additional/Maintenance Notes fields. Tap it to open the AI notes generator.

Tap the wizard icon next to any notes field to open the AI assistant.

• The PIM AI panel will appear at the bottom of the screen, presenting suggested variations of your notes. To refine the wording, choose from one of the four available modes — Rephrase, Professional, Proofread, or Friendly — by tapping the relevant pill at the bottom. Each tap regenerates the suggestions to match the tone or style you have selected.
  

  Choose from four modes to adjust the tone — tap any variation to apply it to your notes.

• Scroll down through the suggested variations and tap any one to apply it to your notes. If you would like fresh suggestions, tap the refresh icon at the bottom to regenerate using AI.
• At any time, tap Undo to revert to your previous notes. When you are happy, tap the small keyboard icon on the toolbar to dismiss the AI panel. Keep in mind that once you dismiss the view, PIM will save the notes as they currently appear.

A Note on AI-Generated Notes

AI Assisted Inspections is designed as a productivity tool to help you draft inspection notes more efficiently. It is worth keeping a few things in mind as you use it.

AI-generated notes are a suggested starting point. Before including any AI-generated content in a final report, you should always review and confirm that the notes accurately reflect what you observed during the inspection. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of any report you submit or share.

When taking photos in properties, be mindful that images may capture personal belongings or identifiable information about tenants or occupants. Please use this feature in accordance with applicable privacy laws and your obligations to the people whose property you are inspecting.
