PIM and AI assisted Inspections

Modified on Tue, 25 Aug at 9:45 AM

PIM's built-in AI assistant is now live — helping you write better inspection notes faster, without changing the way you work. There are two ways AI works for you in PIM, and you can use either or both depending on how you prefer to inspect.

Generate notes from your photos

If you prefer to let the photos do the talking, simply take your photos during the inspection and with a single tap the AI assistant will automatically generate your notes, populate your call-out boxes with key maintenance items and follow-up actions for your tenants, and produce an overall summary — all ready for you to review before submitting.

Improve notes you have already written

If you have already written a few notes and just want a little help with the wording, the PIM AI assistant has you covered. Choose from four modes and let it suggest improved wording right inside the app, without breaking your workflow:

  • Professional — refines your notes into clear, formal language suited to the report
  • Reword — rewrites what you have written while keeping the meaning intact
  • Friendly — softens the tone for tenant-facing notes
  • Proofread — corrects grammar and spelling without changing your wording

Either way, you stay in full control. It is your voice, just a little sharper.

How to get started

To enable AI Assisted Inspections, open the PIM app and go to Settings > Advanced. You can also get in touch via the PIM Help Desk in the app, or email us at support@propertyinspectionmanager.com and we will be happy to help.

Tip: AI Assisted Inspections works alongside your existing workflow — you do not need to change how you inspect. The AI runs in the background and its suggestions are always yours to review, edit, or discard before the report is submitted.
