If an inspection was created manually in PIM — rather than imported from Chintaro — the completed report will not upload to Chintaro automatically. You can still attach it manually by following the steps below. This also applies if you need to re-upload a report for any reason.
Note: These steps apply to Chintaro Local and Chintaro Basic. If you use Chintaro Cloud, please contact Chintaro Support for guidance on how to access your email and file directories within the Parallels environment. |
Step 1. Make sure you have your report file ready. After tapping Submit Inspection in PIM, a copy of the report is emailed to you as a PDF (or Word document if that's your default format). If you haven't received it, see our Sharing Reports and Photos guide for how to retrieve it.
Step 2. Save the submitted PDF from your email inbox to the following directory on your computer: U:\Data\Inspection Images
Tip: If you're unable to copy your PDF into this directory, contact Chintaro Support for help accessing the correct folder location for your setup. |
Step 3. Copy the file name (not the file itself). To do this, right-click the file and select Copy. Alternatively, right-click the file, select Rename, make sure the full name is highlighted, and press Ctrl+C.

Step 4. Log into Chintaro and open the Managed Inspections screen. Select the property that requires the report, then paste the copied filename into the Report Filename field under Inspection Reports. Enter a Report Type (for example, Property Inspection Report) and the Submitted Date.
