We know you can't wait to get started, so let's show you how to get PIM set up on your iPad.
PIM is pretty intuitive, so when logging in for the first time you will need to log in and let us know some basic info so it can begin to do its magic. You only need to do this once as PIM will store the information for you.
Step 1: Search for "PIM" or "Property Inspection Manager" (1) in the App Store then tap GET (2) to install. Remember that PIM is an iPad only app, so you may need to adjust your search filters to see it (3).
Step 2: Locate the new PIM icon on your iPad and tap to open.
Step 3: If you already have a Trial or subscription account with us, enter the Email & Password you were given in the PIM Welcome Email. Alternatively, if you just want to check out PIM you can tap Be our Guest. Be aware though that guest accounts only have limited functionality, so we recommend you sign up for a no obligation Free 2 Week Trial so you can really see how it works!
Step 4: Tap OK when the welcome message appears.
Step 5: Select from Residential Property or Commercial Property (1) then select Continue (2).
Please contact us if you need to incorporate both types of property management in your account.
Step 6: Select the region where you work (1) then select Continue (2).
Step 7: Menu tabs are located at the bottom of the screen. Tap Settings now.
Step 8: Tap PIM Admin.
Step 9: Tap Inspectors.
Step 10: If you see your name listed already, tap on it, otherwise tap the + symbol in top right to add a new person.
Step11: Enter your name and the email address where you would like your reports to be sent.
If you would like to send your reports to more than one email address then just add a "," (comma) between the email addresses.
ie. firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com
Step 12: Tap PIR Template to check or assign the correct report format for Routine Inspections.
Step 13: Scroll down to locate and tap Inspection Template - Default.doc (1). then tap your name in the top right corner (2) to return to the main inspector screen. (Note: If you are a PIM Premium customer and have organised Custom Templates you will be able to select those instead. Just look for Inspection Template - "Your Business Name".doc instead.)
Step 14: Tap PCR Template to assign the correct report format for Property Condition Reports. (Also known as Ingoing/Outgoing, Entry/Exit, Inspection Sheets depending on your region.)
Step 15: Scroll down to locate and tap the PCR template for your region, ensuring you select the Default version. For example WA-PCR-Default.doc (1). then tap your name in the top right corner (2) to return to the main inspector screen. (Note: If you are a PIM Premium customer and have organised Custom Templates please look for your "Your Region"-PCR-"Your Business Name".doc instead.)
Step 16: Your report templates should now display in the Inspector Screen. Tap Done to close.
